He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Roper and Nellie Roper; and his wife Birdie Terry. He is survived by: his children, Michael Roper (Marina) and Michelle Blake (Eddie Goitia); his grandchildren, Susan Roach (Steven), Michael, Andrew Roper, Nathan Blake (Chris Hanson) and McCall Harris (Jeff); and his great grandchildren, Maggie, Henry, Liam and Luke.
