She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Baggett and Gena Baggett; her former spouses, Keith Petersen and O. G. Jones; her spouse Russell Bassett; her sister Lillian McMurray; and her great grandchildren, Alexa and Jared McClure.

She is survived by: her sister Maxine; and her children, Julie Wilson, Rick Petersen (Anne), Bob Jones (Colleen) and Jan Strannigan (Matt). She is also survived by her four children, she has 15 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
