He was predeceased by: his parents, James Adrian Versluis and Esther Virginia Gamble; his siblings, James Jr. (Yvonne), Glen Barney (Audrey), John, William (Susan), Margaret (Charles) and Mary (Ronnie); and his brothers-in-law, Ray Smith, Martin Leon and Alfred Knowles.
He is survived by: his spouse Kerri Fredrickson Versluis; his son Zachary Lee Versluis; his former spouse Kerri Fredrickson Christensen; his stepchildren, Matthew Christensen (Heidi), Evan Christensen (Robyn), Adam Christensen (Valery), Danielle Peterson (Brian) and Stephanie Smith (Ethan); his sisters, Ruth Smith, Barbara Knowles, Jackie Leon and Kathleen Perschon (Richard); and his sister-in-law Utahna Versluis.
