He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Lynn Matthews; his children, Dr. Maria M. Richards (Royce) of Eden, Dr. Bradford K. Matthews (Christy) of Alpine and Teresa K. Erickson (Josh) of Colorado Springs; and his parents, Harvey Kennington and Florence King Matthews. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren.
