Gary Richard Blackmun Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 73, Gary Richard Blackmun in North Salt Lake, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Gary Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his brother Gene. He is survived by: his wife Jan; his sisters, Sharon Klecker, Lynn Maxfield (Nelden) and Kathy Swain (Earl); and his brother-in-law Bill Hughes (Lori). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the LDS Chapel (4275 Bountiful Blvd, Bountiful, UT 84010). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
