He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Stokes and Clara Wilhelmina Steinfeldt Stokes (Steinfeldt); his sons, Bryant and Kevin; his stepchildren, Dody Burnett and Gary Long; and his siblings, Paul Stokes, Erma Montierth and Jean Gilbert.
He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce Wall, Don Stokes, Ann Rackham and Dale Stokes; his wife Betty Stokes (Nelson); his children, Steve Stokes and Shauna Harrel (Brian); and his stepchildren, Steve Long (Coleen), Bill Bloodworth and Margie Talcott (John). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel (351 Lofty Ln, North Salt Lake, UT 84054). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
