She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herndon of Washington and Bonnie Mable Herndon (Hunter); her husband Don Wayne Roberts; and her daughter Ruth Anne. She is survived by: her children, JoNell DeGesualdo (Wayne), Steven Don Roberts (Mary) and Phillip Wayne Roberts (Quinque); her grandchildren, April, Daniel, Jessica, Sarah, Whitney, Joshua, Timothy and Bailey; and her brother Rex Herndon.
The money she raised from her candy making was donated to church youth groups, church missions and various school fund raisers.
