It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard David Gardiner (North Ogden, Utah), who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Willard and Emily Gattiker Gardiner; his wife Jean Wright; his son-in-law Bruce M. Brockbrader; and his siblings, Marion Rice (Blaine), Dale Gardiner (Verna Mae), Leon Gardiner (Bliss), Robert Gardiner and Howard Gardiner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Craner (Doug), Jalene Brockbrader and Jill Johnson (Ryan); his grandchildren, Leslie Rhees (Josh), Richard Hunter, Jamie Winchester (Parker), Jed Brockbrader, Morgan Steinfeldt (Trent), Jed Craner (Chelsea) and Sadie Craner; and his brothers, Bruce A. Gardiner and John Gardiner (Jerrilyn). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
