He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Ferrin and Norma Taylor Ferrin; his close friend Joan Durrant Ferrin; his son Jed; and his siblings, Luan, Garth, Junior, Glaydon and Darlene.
He is survived by: his children, Shane, Shawn (Cristy), Chad (Jodie), Mindy (John), Lori, Justin (Aimee), Jody (Kent), Jamie (Aaron), Brody (Kenna) and Keelie (Ryan); his siblings, Conrad and Shirlene; and also Glaydon. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
