She was predeceased by: her parents, David Howard and Reta Luella Bingham Thurgood. She is survived by: her husband Roger Ostler; and her children, Jodi (Doug), Rustin (Jana), Jami (Josh), Jill (Adam), Jansi (Jake) and Ryan (Shelbie). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She loved the gospel and exemplified Christlike charity in her interactions with everyone she met.
