He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herald and Martha Felix Howell; and his siblings, Maurine, Norman and Larry.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Blanche Budge; his children, Sonya Colvin (Roger), Glade Bradly (Lori), Karen Pollard (Brian), Michele Simpson (Tracy), Kimberly Reeder (Kendall), Gregory and Regan (Rebekah); and his brother Byron. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
