He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vermont and Rozella Laursen Barker; his sisters, Delores, Carol, Bea and Nola; and his son Ted R. Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Afton S. Barker; and his children, Steven Eugene Barker (Michelle) and Jann Barker Manning. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
