He was predeceased by: his son Jason; his sister Kay Remington; and his parents, Lee K. Parkinson and Doris Parkinson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Storey Parkinson; his children, Walter Jr. Watchman (Vilisha), Chad, Deborah McEwen (Gary), Rebekah Hull (Todd) and Stacie England (Jake); and his siblings, Sue Parkinson, Kenneth Parkinson (Carol), Pauline Hone, Jan Palmer (Roger) and Kevin Parkinson (Collette). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jason, a sister, Kay Remington, parents, Lee K. and Doris Parkinson and Harold Ambler.
