He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Penland and Mildred Penland; his brother Dick; and his grandson Lincoln. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Andrew (Shannalee), Jennifer, Aimee and Chris; his grandchildren, Jace, Logan, Luke, Brady, Boston and Laney; his siblings, Paul (Hugh) and Darlene (Joan Bolliger); and his brother-in-law Fred Glazier.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the North Ogden 20th Ward (575 E 3100 N, North Ogden, UT 84414). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at the West Haven Cemetery (1525 2350 W, West Haven, UT 84401).
