He was predeceased by: his parents, Orson Tew and Afton Tew; his brother-in-law Bruce Jorgensen; and his nieces, Jeanna Reid and Marissa Tew.

He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Tew (Paula), Risa Jorgensen, Rochelle Reid (Doug) and Ryan Tew (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
