He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Thompson and Peru Thompson; his wife Norma Olney Thompson; his son Kenneth Jay Thompson; and his granddaughter Jennifer Thompson Peterson.
He is survived by: his children, Winnan Thompson (Norm), Janet Kohler (Dennis), Cheryl Maughan (Jan), Rodney Thompson (Sue), Robert Thompson (Kim), Steven Thompson and Jackie Thompson. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
