He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Parkinson Jones and Olive Kidman Jones; his wife Carole Olson; his daughters, Laurel R. Larsen (Jerry L.), Christine Wheeler (Paul) and Melanie Thornley (Tad); and his siblings, Dan Jones (Alona), Gloria Harris (Owen) and Marcia Swartz (Tony). He was also cherished by grandchildren, twenty-nine (29) great grandchildren, two (2) great-great grandchildren.
He was born December 28, 1931, to Eugene Parkinson Jones and Olive Kidman Jones.
