He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Frederick Evert and Edith Pearl Evert (Kelsey); and his brother Jim (Leda). He is survived by: his wife Leda Renner; his sister Ruth Harmon; and his children, Teri Zorko (Rudy), Gail Evert (Jon Farrelly) and Erik Evert (Jennie). He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.
In the middle of Covid, Dean moved back to Utah to be near his closest daughter and her family.
