He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edmund Russell and Malvola Russell (Bennett); and his sister Gwendolyn Russell. He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Francis Cotton August; his children, Tamera Russell Patterson (Duane) and Tiffany Russell So; his sisters, Sharon Jensen (Bruce) and Deborah Stowell (Steven); and his grandchildren, Jessica Patterson, Jeremy Patterson, Breanna So and Brooke So.
