He was predeceased by: his spouse Deanna Johnson; his mother Hazel Ann Morgan; his siblings, James Morgan Garrett, Cleo Byron Garrett (Skin) and Iris Ann Memmott; his children, Luann Garrett and Steven Craig Garrett; and his nephew James Michael Garrett.
He is survived by: his father Byron Delos Garrett Jr. (Dee) of Nephi; his daughters, Launa (Ernie Gonzales), Debbie (Marvin Morse) and Chris Garrett (Hub Seals); his daughter-in-law Pat Garrett of Spanish Fork, UT; his sister-in-law Elena Garrett; and his stepchildren, Cindy of Dismmick, SF, Wesley, Patty Reynolds of Orem, UT, Cody, Karen, Wendy and Sheldon Winder of Orem, UT.. He is also survived by 16 grandkids, 2 on the way, 35 great grandchildren, 2 more great grandchildren on the way, 15 step grandchildren and their children, 2 nieces, and 3 nephews.
