He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Mathiesen and Edith Godine Pedersen Mathiesen. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Mathiesen (Russell Christian), Allison Stireman, Isaik (Laura Lynn) and Georgia; and his siblings, Ron Mathiesen, Lone Stephens, Judy Warner (Rick) and Steve Mathiesen (KC Frkovich). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
