He is survived by: his former wife Kristine Shurtliff; his children, Tammy Jo Gines (Rodney), Katherine "Katie" Thompson (Nephi), Kearns, Kristy Kay Brannon (Pete) and Layton; his grandchildren, Markas, Kolby Gines, Brandon, Austin, Zach Thompson, James Brannon, Courtney Mahoney and Sage Johnson; his siblings, Lois Hansen, Donna Davies and Larry (Cheryl); and also Sheena Johnson. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
