He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Alfonzo and Rose Waratza Lucero; his wife Genevieve Pearl Taylor; his son Charles Lucero; his granddaughter Amber Lucero; and his siblings, Fred, Pete, Manuel, Juan, Juanita LaRose, Angelina Lucero and Rose Marie.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Lucero (Shirley), Neola, Bernette Lucero, Roosevelt, Bernard Lucero, Jr. (Chris), Cedarview, Denise Lucero, Alfonzo Clarence Lucero (Janice Morris) and Darwin Lucero; and his siblings, Barbarita Lee, Vernal, Eileen Wissiup and Kathy Martinez (Pat). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
