He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Thomas and Paula Maxine Garrison Barrett; his wife Linda Genelle Butler; his son Tommy; and his siblings, Carla Dowel, Michael Barrett, Kay Unruh and Connie Sue Barrett.
He is survived by: his children, Terrie Young, Tonya Little (Kelly), Kim Murrah, Paul Barrett and Paula Scheib (Kevin). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
