She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Atkinson and Oneita Atkinson; her husband Charles Brinker; and her siblings, Blaine and Joan.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Davis, Charla Brinkpeter (Sandie Edwards), Eric, Kent (Heidi), Stuart (Paulette) and Laurel Bryant (Jeff). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
