He was predeceased by: his parents, Garth King and Doris Wood King; his brother-in-law Mark Buchanan; and his nephew Michael King. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; and his children, Seth (Katrinia), Jason (Jaimie), Jamie (Dave), Marcie and Tyler (Amber).

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM and at 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Murray Utah North Stake Center (5200 Glendon St W, Murray, UT 84123).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ALS United Rocky Mountain https://alsrockymountain.org.
