He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sorensen and Lillian Sorensen; his children, Rodney Stuart Sorensen and Tricia Lynn Sorensen; and his brothers, Alan Sorensen, Fred Sorensen and Ron Sorensen.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Michael Sorensen (Colleen), Richard Bryan Sorensen (Alison), Rebecca Pedersen Sorensen, James Walter Sorensen (Lisa) and Cydney Lynette Maisey (David). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren plus 15 spouses, and 38 great grandchildren.
