He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gordon Nelson and Rose Evelyn Bayless; his brothers, Kenneth Nelson and Thomas Nelson; his sister-in-law Sandra Nelson; and his granddaughter Alexandria Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Tonya Schaffer (Duane), Raymond Keith Nelson (Tiffany), Michelle Langford (Jefferson), Jennifer Campbell (William), Laura Olson and Camille Kline (Brett); and his brother Kelly Nelson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
