He was predeceased by: his father Lorenzo Ray Phillips; and his sister Janna. He is survived by: his mother Wilma Fuhrmann; his wife Rachel Detro; his daughters, Brielle Thompson (Louis), Kenzie and Callie; his siblings, Shauna and Mike (Carlene); his nephews, Brandon, Matthew (Katie) and Marcus; and his grandson Grayson.
