She was predeceased by: her parents, James Don Giles and Ellen Flora Manning; her husband Norman Ray Kitchen; and her brother Gerald Giles. She is survived by: her former husband Kent Brighton; her children, Marlene McGrath, Murray, Jeanne Smith (Bryan), Janet Purser (Bart), Sherry Lemmon (Ben), Neil Brighton (Shannon) of Spring, TX, Allen Brighton (Trina) and David Brighton (Karee); her stepchildren, Sharleen Rosenlund (Dale) of Olathe, KS, Gary Kitchen (Debra), LaDawn Walker (Ron), Gordon Kitchen (Amanda), Vernal, Laurel Collins (Troy) of Interlachen, FL, Janette Kline, Nolan Kitchen and Gwenn Humphrey (John) of Fresno, CA.; and her brother Paul Giles. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
