She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Merkl and Shirley Merkl; and her son Terry. She is survived by: her husband Jay Hurst; her sons, Tony (Jama), Tim (Tia) and Tom (Heidi); and her sister Linda Barns (Wayde). She is also survived by nieces, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
