He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamar Monroe and Gwen Tuttle Monroe of Scipio, Utah.; his brother Paul; his granddaughter Mallory Monroe; and his in-laws, Ralph, Lena Henderson (Rawlins), R. Jay Henderson and Roger Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Matt Monroe (Shannon), Jena Reynoso (Carlos), Jeremy Monroe (Emily), Marcee Ludlow (Eric), Hollijo Monroe, Jordan Monroe (Kyra Hermann) and Melisa Monroe; his siblings, Jeanne Young (Gordan), Lee Monroe (Mary), Mark Monroe (Jenene) and Mary Shumway (Larry); his in-laws, LaDene Rovig (Doug), Kathy Henderson, Lisa Henderson and Lon Henderson (Carrie); and also Melissa Monroe Robinson. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren.
