He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughters, Danielle Sorensen (Morgan), Ashton Kelly Homer, Tallan John Homer and Nicole McGirl (Shawn); his grandchildren, Morgun Kelly Sorensen (Gunner) and Bailey Nicole Sorensen; and his sisters, Kim Arnold (Ed) and Leslie Rosvall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In the year 2020 during Covid Brenda was working from home for the first time.
