He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Earl Peterson Sr. and Velma Nilene Hughes Peterson; his siblings, Mary Ann Peterson, Ethel, Melva, Velma, Edward and Della Peterson; his daughter-in-law Holly Marie Peterson; his grandchild Wren Holly Peterson; and his pets, Malachi and Elijah.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Peterson; his children, Heather Peterson (Rick), Troy Skinner, Kim Summers (Corban), Jared Peterson (Lindsay), Brittany Anderson (Justin), Alex Peterson and Courtney Green (Harlyn); his grandchildren, Skyler Sommer (Kassie), Danika Sommer, Saige Christensen, Jacob, Samuel Peterson, Hallee, Aizik, Huxley Anderson, Dove, Phoenix, Max Peterson, Lilith and Hayden Green; and his siblings, AJ and Grace.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Little Cottonwood 12th Ward (6180 S 850 E St, Murray, UT 84107). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Redwood Memorial (6500 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84123).
