It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Clinton Matson (Murray, Utah), who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Matson and Myrtice Irene Clinton; his daughter Karol Alves (Tony); his former wife Karolina; his sister Beverly Lange (Chick); his granddaughter Ruth Hewes; his stepgreat-grandson Dominic Zamudio; and his stepgranddaughter Lindsay Beacco.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Hewes (Jerry), Debra Goodrich (Jim), Joseph C. "Clint" Matson Jr., Linda Somerville (Dennis), Velma Zilm (Kurt) and John Matson (Kim); his wife Marion; and his stepson Dave Beacco (Shelley). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 36 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Knights Templar Eye Foundation or Shriners Hospital for Children.
