He is survived by: his mother Nola Vovak Nelsen of Mesquite, Nevada; his sister Stacy Vasques of Las Vegas, Nevada; his nephew Edison Vasques of Las Vegas; and his grandmother Bette Nelsen (Larson) of Yankton. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
