He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sidney Godfrey and Jacqueline Dawn Sargent Godfrey; his daughters, Mindy Gates and Kimberly Luckau; and his brother-in-law Jim Meeks.
He is survived by: his children, Sidney and Justin; his wife Judy King Florence; his daughters, Tiffany Gallup and Debbie Gardner (Scott); his grandchildren, Spencer, Alexis, Matthew, Gracie, Noah, Charles, Ashley, Samantha, Chace, Haylee, Kalin, Dillon, Jason, Brandon, Meikle, McKinley, Coleman and Tyler Zoe; and his siblings, Dan (Cathy), Jeff (Gayle), David (Patti) and Patricia Meeks. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
