He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Uhlan and Margaret Janet Swalberg (Stahr); and his aunt Carol Swalberg. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann (Prows); his sister Julie Dansie (Craig); and his children, Kevin Swalberg (Tonia), Aaron Swalberg (Liz), Angela Barnum (Ben), Heather Boyce (Jim) and Russel Swalberg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Humanitarian Fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
