He was predeceased by: his brother Rob (Rae); his aunt Sally; his uncle Charlie; his cousin David; and his grandparents, Florence Boettcher, Knoble Boettcher, Alice and Bill Brown.

He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Boettcher and Robert Boettcher; his brothers, Jon (Jayme) and Danny; his sister-in-law Rae; his nieces and nephews, Justin, William, Michael, Elizabeth (Duncan) and Katelyn; and his cousins, Lori and Charlene (Jamie).
