With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Consuelo Cupid Payan (Murray, Utah), born in Bakersfield, California, who passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Atlee Ahalt and Mary Gertrude Ahalt; her brothers, Philip Ahalt, Toby Guerrero and Charlie Guerrero; and her uncle Joe Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Mathew, Angela and Brandon Montoya; her grandchildren, Aliveah and Gabe; her siblings, Shirley Burringo, Mary Valdez (Arthur), Lupe Guerrero (Bessie), Virginia Espinoza, Mary Helen Guerrero, Priscilla Castanuela (Lee Manzanares), Joe Guerrero (Toney) and Hope Cervantez; her godchildren, Charley Paulino, Enrique Valdez and Carlina Trevizo; her son Matthew; and also Pauline Caraveo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to the restrictions on social gatherings, the family has requested that those attending wear a mask until seated.
