He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Erickson and Nettie Severson Erickson; and his siblings, Brent, Rod, Reed, Wendall and Gwen Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Gately; his children, Steven, Randy (Lana), Craig (Terry) and Patty; his grandchildren, Kristoffer, Meghan, Alysia (Ben) and Heather; and his siblings, Hal (Pat) and Lois Stevens (Steve).
