Caleb Eli Banta Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caleb Eli Banta in Murray, Utah, born in Provo, Utah, who passed away on October 24, 2021, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dennis Lowther and Bonita Lee Allen Banta; and his brother Ammon. He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Banta and Pamela Lowther Banta; his siblings, Nattely Rasmusen (Ben), Janae Gines (Levi), Devon Myslinski (Sean), Chantell Vermeulen (Bryce), Ashlyn Banta, Rachel Banta, Rebekkah Banta, Zachary Banta (Jenna), Michael Banta (Lianna) and Jared Banta (Kristin); and his grandparents, Stanley Roy Banta and Saundra Lowther Hall. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.

To honor his desire in this area, in lieu of flowers, donations in his name to any of the following would be appreciated: Children's Justice Center.

I enjoyed my interactions with Caleb and was very impressed that despite having his own challenges to overcome outside of school, he still stuck to his goal to finish his high school diploma and he it was awesome to see him reach that goal. Caleb had a big heart and a big smile that will be missed. Know that he had a positive impact on my life I am thankful that I knew him.”
