She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert John Bruening and Gertrude Ferndine Thorup Bruening. She is survived by: her husband Doug; and her children, Paul Hileman and Leslie Messano. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
