He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Neal Hess and Lillismae Homer. He is survived by: his children, Marlene Cole (Jim), David Hess (Marci) and Larry Hess (Jenny); his wife Amy Kay; and his children, Heather Nielsen (John), Colin Hess (Rebecca), Nathan Hess (Monica), Jared Hess (Emily), Carolyn Griffin (Brandon) and Emily Hess. He is also survived by his three siblings, six children, 29 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
