He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sherman Smith and Olive Anna Ellen Truscott; his former wife Louise Swensen; his wife Nancy R. Smith; and his sons, Justen Smith (Zara), Carl Smith (Leslie) and John Smith (Rachelle). He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Due to COVID-19 there will only be a graveside service on February 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
