She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Freida Heise and Otis Levi Bate; and her grandparent grandaddy Heise (grandma Heise). She is survived by: her father-in-law Basil Alonzo Rhodes; her former spouse Emer Richard Taylor (Dick); and her husband Paul Combs.
