He is survived by: his wife Veloy Tonks; his children, Gwen Rich (Roger), Erika Bettinson (Aaron) and Mark Dickson (Carrie); and his siblings, Norris Dickson, Barbara Whittier, Dixie Porter and Maisie Whitaker. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
