He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeston Bird and Sadie Marie Danks Dawson; his significant other Shirley Peterson; his son Scott Dawson; his grandson Cody Rich; and his great grandchild Statton Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Larson (Dave) and Susan Rich (Layne) of Morgan; his grandchildren, Dusty Dawson (Callie), Casey Rich (Ali), Loni Verhaal (Cassidy), Jennifer Gresham (Broc), Jared Rich (Shaina), Lance Williams (Stephany), Trev Dawson (Savannah), Kalie Ralphs (Luke), Randy Rohwer (Topaz) and Layna Robinson (Tyrel); and his brother Kenneth Dawson. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
