He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Washington and Fae Fridal Francis. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Palmer; his children, Nichola Modesitt (Chris) and Darcy K. Francis; his siblings, Stuart J. Francis, Tim Francis and Lisa Green (Mark); and his grandchildren, Carli Francis, Gavin, Ian, Eric and Kirsten Modesitt.
