He was predeceased by: his parents, Linden Chester Carter and Alta Mary Garner Carter; his son Valdean Gary Carter; and his sister Kay Wilde. He is survived by: his wife Jeanine; his children, Lynette Jensen and Nolan Carter (Darcy); and his siblings, Blair Carter and Sharel Howard. He is also survived by six grandchildren, one great grandchild.
